Some ******* decided to break into my 03 evo and steal my recaro seats and many other things. Have a solution and money to fix and replace everything, except the seats. I don't know if anyone has checked the price of the Recaro seats from the dealership...$7000 a god damn seat!!! I guess you really get what you paid for. Insurance only gave me $500 a seat, and not one junkyard has a good used pair. Any ideas/solutions for the fix?? I wanna get back in my pride and joy and rip some vettes and stangs ha ha!!! Anything ideas would help. Thanks

ha search for different types of racing seats u may be able to find a nice set well half way decent set for 1k since insurance gave u 500 a seat. Theres 2 other threads i know of that this happened to ppl. Sucks glad my car sits in the garage.

plenty of folks selling there seats on here for under 1k should not be a problem to pick some up. lol i want to call my dealer and see if its really 7k a seat thats alittle to excessive dude lol that 14k right there tied up into the price of he evo. Hmm could indicated why the 8 evos we had here where 37k plus ttl i thought it was the 5000 gas guzzing charge they add down here

Whoever the insurance adjuster was, they did not give you a fair amount for your seats. I would call them back and tell them that you cannot replace the seats for what they have paid and demand more. What they gave you is rediculous. I fight with insurance adjusters all day long. Talk to a supervisor, that usually works. GL.

 

i would def call your insurance company back!! their robbing you as bad as the people who actually stole your seats!!

Even on Mitusbishiparts.com the seat back plus cushion list for a combined $4700, thats pretty crazy. I would definitely try sending that link to the insurance company. Would never have guessed these are so expensive

 

what isurance do you use. dont they have to replace parts using oem parts? most reputable companies require that.

 

don't 4 get the deductibles!

 

Get aftermarket seats and a new insurance company
