Which car is better; Skyline R32, R33, maybe a R34 or an Evolution? I am looking to tune it heavily!

 

if you are very wealthy go for the skyline

 

exactly as stated above if youve got some serious money then def without a doubt get the skyline... if not then evo ftw!!! i almost got a R34 but it takes so much to get them street legal over here, a lot of money... and most of the people selling them over here arent legit and can cause you serious legal trouble later on.

 

Even though I have an evo, I'll say the R35.

 

R34 all the way.

 

I like a Skyline as much as the next guy. The above post are on point. The cars are pricey to get legal, parts are rediculous to source, and parts are also quite pricey.

Then you have to worry about every jackass that see's you park it somewhere. Not that it wouldn't happen with the EVO from time to time but with the Skyline it will be much worse man.

If your well off get the Skyline

 

R34's are illegal in the states...
Not many R33 is legal also.

Evos are better overall cars. Also cheaper and not too unique to get the parts for it.
And they are just as fast, but much better handling. Only two way the Skyline is better ,if you are a drifter or highway runner.

 

The exact reason i sold my r32. Every red light, every parking lot, every gas station. Always an idiot asking you "HAY DOOD IS THAT A SKYLINE?!??" After a while i didnt even drive it because so many nice cars go missing around here, It just got to be a nuisance. Id recommend an evo, i sold my r32 to get mine.

Not to bash you but i believe if your going to ask a question like that maybe you shouldn't be building one to "heavily tune." Maybe you should do some research and figure out what suits you best.
Anyway, good luck with your search if it was up to me i'd buy some type of skyline 32/33.

 

Sorry for the double post, but while i'm in here i guess i'll ask. linuxbatm what did you have done to your skyline?

 

BPU mostly. Exhaust, IC pipes and a front mount. And the crazy *** kit/wheels that came from japan. Marquis promada magnesium wheels, they were pretty sweet. The evo is a much nicer car, but the r32 was just mean from the factory. Much easier to get sideways in as well.
