Exclamation HELP!!! Should 12k HID's be pink??

Heyy whats up guys,

alright my situation is that my boy just bought 12k HID kit from some weird *** sight that i've never heard of called carhidkits.com?? and i've bought mines freaking awhile ago and i also 12k's but mines are blue.

when we installed it and the generators kicked in, it turns white, blue then a lightish pink??? and i told him that he prolly got the wrong bulbs or there old bulbs cuz i heard that when bulbs gets old they somewhat turn pink then start flickering and such...idk that's what i heard but any info so i can tell this idiot that he's been scammed big time!!

And the dude that sold it to him keeps saying he must of swapped out the 12k's to a diff one outta the box and when i looked at the box there is no return add or location to where this kit came from...haha my boy isn't to bright...He owns an evo aswell but he thinks he knows everything and he's saying its right and whatnot so i just let him talk and talk.

Idk i just need some back up here so i kno i'm right and he's wrong and needs to start learning lol.

12000 K SHOULD be violet-ish. hope that your boy knows with that high of a Kelvin bulb he will get doodoo for light output.

oh and in case you were unsure, the answer is: Yes it is completely alright for you to make fun of his violet lights, higher K does not make a person that much cooler.

There are plenty of us here who sell good kits, and would never entertaining such horrible kelvin ratings. Live and learn I guess.

Unfortunatly 12k is "light purple" aka PINK, Tell your buddy to do his home work before spending hard earned green stuff and getting sissy looking pink stuff. His only option now is buy new hid's or buy a big F-ing turbo and smoke anyone who calls him a sissy!! LOL!!

Why would anyone buy 12k HIDs???? The only ones i'd ever consider are 4.3k or 6k. Anything higher has horrible light output.

Actually if you go higher than 6k you get better light output... the problem is the light output you get is well beyond the spectrum HUMANS CAN SEE!!! You you waste your money but can brag about a really big number on your headlights.
