Evo + snow = fun!
Evo + Snow - Snow Tires = PANIC! We got about 8 inches of snow here in Boston a few days ago and I def wasn't ready. I drove my car in the snow thinking it would be a breeze but forgetting I had no snow tires... never again. Had to park my car for a few days. Everyone's reaction: "But it's an EVO... I thought they were crazy in snow". *sigh* noobs

Same here my friend i felt like i was not in controll of the car rear end feels like it just want to go sideway. Definitely need some snow tires next year
I go play in the snow every chance I get. Its soo much fun and a good way to learn car control. You never know when you'll need those skills for real.
If you drive an evo in the winter do yourself a favor and at the very least get some all seasons. Our summer tires go nowear and cant stop iin the snow.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..........

Evo + Snow tires + new tune + stoooopid "I'm gonna break the back end out a little bit around this corner" = nice little spin into a nice icey field....
I have a $1000 deductable to meet for collision... worth just buying Voltex? Hahahaha.
Evo deff kicks A** though. There's no other time in my life when I've spun a car, cracked the bumper, and gotten out of the car with a big ol' smile on my face! Kinda sick that I feel ok about this.....

Last weekend I drove seven hours and 500 miles though blowing snow in Wyoming and Montana. Snow and ice covered roads for 90%. Cruised 80-85 though most of it. Fog lights help a lot when deciphering constantly changing conditions. Car was rock solid, predictable. I had to slow down each time to pass safely. A beautiful thick ice beard covered the car to the windows. 205/50/17 hakkapalitta Rs are the ****!
