There's a guy out of Malaysia who had two sets of OEM 7 tails for under 160 on Ebay. Only thing is, in both sets one of the lights had a crack in it. Looks like it can be fixed. Also he guaranteed them to be water tight. I think there is one set left. I picked up one of them for 120+ shipping.

I noticed this too just the other day. I was expecting $300ish for VII's and my jaw almost hit the ground when I saw $550.

I'm going the amber overlay route to make them look like JDM IX's until VII's are back at reasonable prices. No tail lights are worth $500.

it does suck i know, you guys shoulda bought them back in the day. i recall my tails being 300 or so. and this was back in 05 i believe when i first purchased my evo.

Check with EvoDave. He did the inside panel in black. It's been 2 years and still going strong.
