In before this thread is locked lol.

In this economy its too bad the event is on the same day. It seems like people would pony up $ to come to both events if they were at different times.

My exact Sentiments...

We enquired about vendor space at the last shootout. I was told here on this forum they had a space for me "IN THE MIDDLE OF ROUTE 20". Then the promoter flat out told me to come on up..."HE AND HIS BOYS would like to meet me" . I have been threatened in the past several times. Why would I want to support ANY events with a promoter with those business practices?

So it was a no brainer...SEE YOU IN E-TOWN....As we previously mentioned we'll sponsor the highest MPH class and be setup as a Vendor. Now I can bring the Wife and be relaxed

I told Dave four years ago at the last shootout I personally attended that I would never show up at one of his events again. I have stuck to my word, and have never been back.

Jeff Hill and Turbo rix has always treated me with a lot of respect - except for that time Bean cut in line for an alternate at a Q16 in Etown... I slashed his tires after the event (JOKE), so no hard feelings Keith if you even remember that day! HAHA!

See you in Etwon - Nate (TPG) the driver will be trying to make a few passes soon... we will keep you updated.

We may even bring a WRX... HEHE

i might as well say all this fighting is just plain stupid and annoying. Keep it on your respective boards. there are always going to be jerks in this world. there are always going to be people you dont like i get that. but then you choose to hurt the community as a whole by making folks choose all your doing is showing what snakes you venders are. Im proud to not have any br or turbotrix parts on my car. i wanted to get a stage 3 head and test for my build that new turbotrix manny for me and mellons stock turbo build. I might have to reconsider both options. My parts might not be compatible with each other i sure know both of you wanna be leaders need to have a sit down and hash it out face to face and quit all this internet garbage fighting. if you want us to understand why you are screwing him its falling on deaf ears same with david if you want to turn a new leaf. First impressions mean alot i never dealt with either vendors maybe a conversation but thats all. FOR all the newbie evo owners out there like myself see this and are disgusted by the behavior of both and you guys really make it to easy to not buy any of your products proven or not. Makes me feel if i buy something from you two and a issue should arise im gonna to face the same bullsh@!t attiute you are spoon feeding all of us. If you want to fight next time dont start Bs threads explain on your own boards

.02
thanks for reading

P.S. with me being new to all of this i could really give two ***** why you dont like each other keep it to yourself and play nice with your own crowd

I am so sick of this crap.

How many people would actually go to both events? It is hard enough to get a group of people to go to the SO as it is. Someone's car is not ready or no money etc.

In this economy with people losing jobs I am willing to bet not a lot of people would actually stand behind what they say and go to both events.

Simple fact, in 2007 the SO got rained out, by a show of hands, how many of the people who were there in August went back to the make up day?

The principle is the same, that year there were 2 races on 2 different dates. I know at least a dozen peolple who are die hard So guys who went in 07, but did NOT go to the make up date.

Everyone should just go to the event they want to go to, both are going to be awesome.

I will be at E-town since its close. I am looking forward for its my first event. As far as being a noobie to the evo/dsm community I am surprised at hear all of this controversy. I don't want to take sides but I have heard both them. May the best shootout win and next year do 2 different dates. Eventually one event will pretty much become obsolete, if not we will have 2 great events to attend! I do agree at the fact that most people will not attend both events.

I, personally, have always attended every TT Event at Raceway Park and supported our sport to the outmost and always tried to put on a good show for the race fans

While I have always enjoyed the TT event, I agree that it was very selfish to make the decision to put the two events on the same date to make a point as many racers and fans who would have enjoyed both events will be indirectly adversely effected

At least I give Keith kudos for having the ***** to admit what he did - that is good

I plan to attend the Blocuh Turbo event at Beaver Springs on May 30 - who else is going to a neutral event and support our sport and show compradery and mutual respect and advance out hobby ?

I already explained to you that your reasoning is erroneous

A lot of people go to both events every year - myself included who are just racers and don't give a damm aboit the high school drama between the sponsors - we just go to race

When they had the re-scheduled Ohio race two years ago a LOT of people showed up

I already posted a link to the video showing all the people there

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Avu8s...e=channel_page

Yet you keep saying the same thing

NO ONE benefits by the events being held on the same day - OTHER tahn the guy who is trying to make a point - he gets to make his point and the racers anbd fans suffer

Keep in mind the two events are nothing new - I have been attending them both for years

In fact I won the TT event in 2003 - 2004 and 2005 and I made it to the finals of the Ohio event those years also

The only thing that is new this year is an anti-Buschur vibe and some people who want to make a message by holding both events on the same day

I did read this event had been held in previous years. It seems though their seems to be a larger support crowd for it. If its going to be bigger than previous years then so be it. Like I said make this event date the last time to be the same as the os event. Maybe the community can benefit from both. If not let only the strong survive...
