Better than nothing and won't look as ugly as painter's tape, though I think the tape would give you better protection.
I bought this stuff for a drive from Dayonta Beach- Cleveland. did a great job for bugs and dirt but it wont help much on rocks. Buy some painters tape with it and tape off a nice design, can test out paint schemes your thinking about for later on

My evo had the 3m clear bra on it when i bought it. I think it has saved the frond end from many rock chips. You can just barely see where it ends from 10 feet away. It probably was kind of a pita to put on but i think it's worth it.

I just bought my evo about a month ago and there's plenty of rock chips my when the previous owner had it. About how much does it cost to repaint the front end?

Park it in the living room!

Clear bra and a thick coat of carnauba wax is the best you can do. Try to stay off straight highways and focus on your line not your paint.

Every rock you encounter is thrown up by another vehicle's tires. If you keep some space between you and the vehicle ahead most of this problem can be eliminated.

Mine has that too. Do you still have yours on the car? I wonder if it's a pain to take off. I'll probably just leave mine on until it looks like garbage. As of now, you can't even tell its on there from a normal distance. I'm sure it'll get worse in due time.

Yeah, its still on. I think i'm going to do the same as you, when it starts peeling up i'll take it off and maybe put on a new one.

3m clear bar looks like crap after a year.. friend has it on his porsche.. it works.. no chips or anything but pita to take it off. and it looks very very ugly after 5 years. lots of scratches.. but hell it saves from having to repaint.
