Yea GB rattle for 4 yrs now Oh well

 

my car doesn't rattle as bad as my old vw, but there are still a few. the only ones that I even notice are the dumb ones like a mountan dew can in the cup holder or my Storm in the door handle pocket.

crank that radio or drive at a higher RPM. lol

 

i get a new rattle in my car everyday! i cant stand it! I tinted my windsheild and when i took the rear view mirror off and put it back on, every morning the lil plastic cap around it rattles! drives me insane!!.

and dnot even get me going on the passenger side i just put the windows down and listen to the exhaust/external

and PS if its cold outside cars will rattle more because the plastics loosen up.

 

i have the same problem but cant figure it out either...stereo fixes it though lol

 

Check the in-cabin air filter mounting screws.

 

Last time i had a rattle it was a loose heat shield ... thats what it is most of the time !!!

or maybe you have a rattlesnake living in your dashboard... i would call animal control asap ... lmao

 

Try tightening up all screws/bolts behind and around glove box area.
It worked for me.
Also, GSR suspension (KYB) is known for rattling even when new.

 

mine rattles along the passenger side door by the speaker enclosure. i put felt in. worked for me, haha

 

i know many evo out there rattles and i sat in a few evos...but it seems like my rattle is ridiculously noticeable...i need to turn my stereo up with 2 rockford fosgate p3s half way on stock headunit about volume 20 before i start not to notice...it actually started to rattle about 3 years ago when i had a new engine put in by mitsubishi...man..maybe thats where i went wrong...they probably dropped a bolt somewhere in the car and its rattling around like crazy

 

Rattling sound is somewhat of a problem ? ..... sounds like the usual maitenance (tightening bolts here and there) cleans it up...

How'd you manage to get mitu to drop a new motor in your car ? ....

don't you hate it when you have spare parts left after you just put something together

 

If your Evo isn't rattling you haven't modified it enough! LOL I have solid lower motor mount and my car has a rattle in the . . ., well . . ., everywhere!!!! LOL

x92 i just got this rattling noise couple days ago. car just reached 25k. I thought it was a piece of the motor that got loose so i gotta check it asap
