ok i recently had a fender bender and was looking around for a new rear bumper and really like the jdm bumper but have heard that evos with that style bumper have issues with exhaust and the bumper being to low? is that a normal problem with that bumper. also i was wondering if anyone has ever ordered the jdm bumper pre-painted and if it actually looks good or is it just a cheep few coats?

but yes you need to modify your exhaust....the exhaust sticks out to far if you dont

 

1.well it will only have an issue with the exhaust if your exhaust is ment for the usdm bumper then it will stick out too much but that can be taken care of at an exhaust shop.

2.as for it being too low i never heard of that its the same height as the stock one, only shorter so the rear crash beam has to be removed or customized.

3.and when getting the bumper prepainted it is comming from japan using the stock color so its a great match well thats how mine is... well good luck with your choise
