Search this..there is a thread on here that had a link to a site which gave out free samples. That's what I did, asked for the samples and got them within a few days. I believe the plug ended up being like 2 5/8" but i cant remember

For the people wondering about the same question i found the link for a free sample plug

go to :

http://www.harmancorp.com/mycart/

and order a sample of the part number ZZS1418-2P018

the plug will arrive in about 4 days and its free!

Has a pretty good seal. I notice after a 2 hour heavy rain only about a teaspoonful of water had gotten in and this is with putting no sealant on the flanges. I am going to seal it and that should take care of that little bit of water.

If that is the case it is the stupidest idea I have heard. Why take of just the wiper arm? I love my rear wiper. Cleans of frost/snow in the morning and makes it so I can see out my rear window in heavy rain or traffic when it's raining.

By just pulling the arm off and pluging that hole your not saving any weight. You still have all the fluid lines and the wiper motor back there. And I don't think it makes the car look cleaner either, if anything I think the wiper back there give the Evo a unique look being a sedan with a wiper. Esp since my Evo is wingless to.

No i removing the entire assembly, I just dont like the look of the rear wiper on my wingless car.

The rear wiper has no point to me since my sti i previously had did not have one and i was perfectly happy with it.

that just seems like way too much work to just get rid of a rear wiper
