I think a more appropriate question would be what tools don't I have? It seems like every time I work on my car I need to buy another tool. This started many years ago so my collection has grown.

I love my ratcheting wrenches! I finally got a set after asking for them this past Christmas. My toolbox has grown considerably over time though. I started with a basic Craftsman 3/8" drive socket set and a 8mm - 17mm wrench set (both which I still use all the time) and its just grown from there. Now, I pretty much have any hand tool you'd need to work on a DSM or Evo

that can be used for bad things too

I have one of those flexible ratchet extensions, I bought it on a whim but it is very useful on European cars

My newest and probably new favorite tool is a 9000 lbs two post auto lift. I hate working on the cold ground

Just FYI.... The thread in the axle shafts (correct term?? the shafts that come out of the transfer-case) are the same as the timing belt removal tool. so if you get a small slide hammer and the timing belt tool and a big washer you can make a slide hammer to get the axle shafts out.... or some metric all thread and a nylock nut and washer....

I love my swivels and extensions I also have some ratchets that dont have click they engage anywhere but I have only used them a few times, but they worked well when I was in a really tight area...

My favorite tool is my father's Snap-On truck sitting in his front yard... I mostly use a Blue Point general service set for most of my work...over 200 pieces I think.

A spare tools box for spare tools - if I find I have two of anything, one goes in the spare tools box. This keeps my tool chest from becoming too cluttered making things hard to find. When a tool goes missing I go to the spare tools box to see if I have another before heading to the store. Well, that usually happens. If I forget to look I invariably end up with three of the same thing.

Oh, and drill bits – the best money can buy. I used to think drill bits worked by wearing their way through.
