Hey guys,

I was reading up on the evo 6spd transmission and i been seeing that it will break from 4th+ if it gets over heated? Heated" meaning, auto cross, or does long freeway trips also apply to this. Would luanching the car break the transmission easily(drag racing, and street racing)? I also know that the 6spd required more fluid maintenance then the 5spd correct?

I am wondering because i drive far distance daily(mostly freeway 30min-1hr drives) and i would hate to deal with a broken transmission.

second...why would you be cruising at freeway speeds in forth gear

third...where did you hear the fluid maintenance thing
