Has anyone here replaced the stock underpanel fasteners with dzus style ones?

 

I was planning on it - haven't got around to it yet, but its on my list of things to do.

 

What are those? Got any links.

no i havent but i hate the effing stock ones...

 

I've always thought the beatrush was a better design and makes everything easier. I hated the stock plastic one so much I left it off completely after the 1st time I removed it on both of my Evo's.

 

also wanted to try this but never got the chance. the reason i put back my stock undertray is to keep the engine bay cleaner and because I read somewhere here i think it was GST that with the undertray on he notice that his transmission is 8-10 F cooler that without it.

I was thinking maybe like these ones. Or they also have ones that can be riveted on. I might have to pull off the underpanel and see how many of each style are needed.

+1. Just gets in the way

 

keeping mine off. I had a minor leak at one of the oil cooler line fitting that i spotted one day after work. If i had the undertray on i might not of caught the leak until it was to late.

Do you know how many of each type of fastener you used?

 

Go get the Beatrush undertray and save yourself the headache in the long run
