Got the same problem too, good thing i found this thread cuz i was planning to get it checked on weekend. Its nice to hear its normal. =)

So the verdict is don't shift so hard.. or replace your rear bushings..

^^ there is a difference between shifting hard and shifting fast. as stated before its not an old hot rod with a hurst.

I've had this thump sound as well a while ago, doesn't do it anymore, maybe i've gotten better at shifting. i thought it was cool. kinda miss it now. lol.
