No, not taking off the wing, wouldn't consider doing that until I find a GG spare trunk with no holes. I just wanted to check that I can take it off with out damaging the roof before I put it on.
Speaking of that. does anybody know if a standard lancer trunk would fit and if they came in GG?

It comes up pretty easy..
Helps if it's warm..
try a hair dryer on low and heat up the area just a tad.
Makes the adhesive come up easier.
Then just be careful when popping the tabs out..

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
I had not problem taking it off of my car when it was used. I went to a local sign/sticker/design shop and got some of there glue remover and it worked perfect! I used WD-40 on my friends and let it sit for just a little bit and woked fine with no damaged

I use that to put my GoPro Camera on my race bikes. Run a fine piece of safety wire back and forth and then just rub it back and forth with your finger and it will peel itself off
thats definatley the safest way
there is a user on here that is looking to trade for a winged GG trunk....he had his trunk holes filled and painted. i think he is located in NJ however but it is a straight trade

Thanks everyone,
It came off pretty much like everyone said. I tried sitting it out in the sun but it wasn't hot enough, so I grabbed a blow dryer. Worked like a charm, after that it was a little goo-b-gone and a quick wash, I covered the wholes with black electrical tape until I can get some of those vinyl stickers, I can imagine they will work decently seeing as how you cant even see the electrical tape if your more then 5 feet away.
If I decide to put it back on, does everyone suggest the doublesided 3m adhesive tape, like on the VG?
