I painted some interior stuff black today due to being so bored. The small piece to the left of the steering wheel, the big long strip that goes all the way across and the HVAC/radio bezel (which I messed up... I have to re-do it). It was such a nice day out I didn't want to be inside all day.

So, as I was putting stuff back together, I notice... the foglight button (AKA ACD button) and the power mirror switch does not illuminate. Have they ever? I'm not quite sure if they ever have, haha.

Also, now suddenly one of the LED's in my HVAC panel won't work and the other one will work if you tap on the dash board a little. Is it just a bad LED, or some other electrical issue? I don't want this to be the beginning of electrical issues. And my hazard light switch doesn't blink with the hazards. Does it usually? That's something I never paid any attention to.

Also, due to my own stupidity, the battery had died from me leaving the doors open and having the key on most of the time... Not sure if that could have played a role.

Any kind of help is appriciated

 

I know for a fact my power mirror switch illuminates, not sure about the rest. I have had to observe my lighting carefully because I've converted everything inside and outside to LED.

 

Hmm... Yeah, foglights work, power mirrors work and the hazards work but the buttons do not illuminate with the lights. I don't expect the hazard switch to illuminate with the lights but I thought it flashes with the exterior hazard lights... maybe I'm wrong...I can't remember if they've always been like this or what.

And to be quite honest, I really couldn't care less. I know where the buttons are and what they do. What I don't want is now for a huge wave of interior electrical issues to haunt me

 

Ok, I was just informed the stock bulbs aren't LED's... yikes. I'm a little slow. They're just the stock bulbs that light up the HVAC controls. When you tap on the panel, they might pop on, they might not... ugh.

 

Ahh man, nothin'?

Eveything is plugged in and works. I don't see how all the bulbs could have just sudden died on me.

 

I have some spare bulbs, probably the stock ones I got with the car that would have come out right away when I changed to LED if you want them.
