i feel ur pain i just replaced a clutch and now my rotors are goin, and then probly the pads, but for some reason i keep sticking more money into it. and then theres the temptation or mods to many things and once you buy one you have to complament it with another ha but when you get the chance to wax a car that wants to race when they pull up next to you i guess its worth it, dam subaru people never learn i guess haha.

Every car requires maintenance. They key is to to preventative maintenance as opposed to waiting for something to go wrong.

Bought my evo with 22,000 on the clock. Drove it for 5,000 miles/2 months of DD and the motor let loose. I guess that's what you get for buying an evo with a built motor. I've owned it for 5 months now and hoping to get it back within the next 2 weeks. Bought the car for 20k, put 8k in to fix it, and have spent over 1k in rental cars. I'm not happy to say the least, but I'm sure I won't care anymore once I get it back!

I only hate the fact that every single rice burner and "merican" muscle cars try to race me AND every single cop in my town seems to love tailing me all the time. It doesnt help having 1 of the 2 MR tourings in the entire county and having the only WW one haha.

couldn't agree more. i bought a $1500 subaru legacy wagon and i freakin love that thing! it gives me all the time in the world to play with my evo and do whatever i want to it. dont have to worry about the car being down or not.

Gotta agree. Not having the evo as my only car is a huge stress reliever. Ive had many project cars over the past 6-7 years, but the same 1996 maxima that ive beat the crap out of as a backup

If you are modifying an Evo past bolt ons a secondary vehicle is a must.
