LICP with the help of a local shop...
some buschur FMIC connect in the back with a prewelded J pipe.. got it cut off + plugged and welded on the side more regular (and better flowing) IC style.. you can see where it was plugged

I'm in the middle of making my own gauge pod... out of a combination of materials. An old acrylic chopping board, some fibreglass with polyester resin, some acrylic resin borrowed from work (dental laboratory), and automotive body filler.

A bit of a frankenstein's monster of a thing :P

just made my own intake i guess.

took a peice of 3" stainless with a 45* bend in it, cut it and bent it a little to fit under my UICP and so the filter doesnt hit my hood.

Came out really good and it only cost me $30 bucks for a peice of stainless and the 2 couplers needed.

its a base off of the ets intake you can say lol

Quite a few hacked up OEM airbox's / heat shields for airbox out there. I don't have one or I'd post pics.

The MR gauge package / radio swap is also popular and doesn't requre any additional parts.

Shorty Antenna's used to be popular also. Can be swapped with a VW antenna or cut to length.

I was going to mold the lcd out of a zeitronix into the lower part of the trim around the gauges. Decided to get rid of the zeitronix though. I also tried to make an aluminum airbox, but failed. The aluminum I used was too thin and didn't hold up well.

I also have some diy custom valve nicks in two of my pistons. About to replace those though.
