was leaving school yesterday and the car was making a weird rattle at lower rpms does not matter if clutch is in and sounds like an exhaust piece is loose was wondering if it should check some other things after i try to tighten the exhaust

 

where was the rattle coming from? i mean if you think its the exhaust then go check those bolts and then test drive and if its gone well then you figured it out

 

sounds like its from farther back in the car

 

yeah i would say most likely exhaust take a look and see if everything is fastened good.

 

if you still have the stock exhaust, check the heat shields on the downpipe. Mine started to rattle at about 2.5k rpms, then i removed them - no more rattle, then i got a Megan downpipe
