Is that part of the alarm system? When you turn your key to the on position it should automatically start the fuel pump. Sounds like you are double priming or something... Maybe you should try turning the key to the on positionand wait for like 3 secs. Then proceed to start the car.

ive tried that, and still no cigar...and lets say the car stalls at a stop sign/light due to the rough idle, it will not turn over at all, not for a couple of minutes that is. if i were to crank and crank, it will not start...

okay......im going to try a fuel pump cut-off switch tomorrow...
i know my ish is running rich...i know if i were to crank it without priming it will not start....so i came to the conclusion that my injectors inject too much fuel making it hard to start....

i've searched and searched again and i see a bunch of folks, especially evoX owners having a starting prob.

i will shut off the pump, crank the motor, then turn pump on.... Hope this works....

IM A HONDA GUY, ive never ever had this prob... i hope this works, if not, good bye EVO....HELLO STi...

heheheh

Another Update!!!!!

i brought the car to Performance Options and i was told that the probs i've been having is due to the msd ignition and that the timing is hella retarted....

im hoping thats the end of my head ache....

^+1

seems like it takes way too much to start your car

and you should definately find out exactly what your car has done to it

okay so priming the car before the crank is due to the alarm being wired up in a diff way.

the car wont start after dying at idle is because my igniter was loose.
tg
another thing. i finally called the guys who built the car called apex automotive in florida. they said that the block in the car is its second motor. the first blew.
on the new motor, is cp pistons, corillo rods, stage 5 pnp, hks 272 cams. stock turbo, w/ meth kit.
ive been researching about what to do next and im stuck between fp red or gt35r. my goal is 500whp so any inputs???

Try cleaning the throttle body with carb spray.
