1) It is a shame....I'd kill for an Evo in Canada

2) You insurance isn't going up, you drive a WRX, your dad has the Evo and he's probably older so his insurance will barely move

3) 5000 - crashes = What 3500 cars left....these things are going to be endangered species soon

4) Truly a shame.

Poor car. Keep it up and our car will become limited edition.

Anyway, one more car for spare part. Good for us.

At least we know from all the accidents teh cabin is pretty sturdy, but the rest of the car sure crumples and falls off quickly.. like it should.. Someone should start an Evo registry tracking VINs, and marking them with colors and options and if they get totalled. Might get a small sampling of about 20% of the owners...

It might be a good idea to start a registry of totalled evo's for nothing more than customers who may end up getting a salvaged car.

Trunk was popped in the picture. Doubt the wing is still there. From every evo accident I've seen the wing literally flies off, don't think it's bolted on too good.

this makes no sense... Considering it was obviously a hit in the front and back they both should have popped... Although you can tell that the passenger did pop, cause the srs light is on in the mileage picture... but that is really weird that the drivers didn't pop

Might want to take a closer look at that picture, yes the SRS light is on, but the tach is registering 0 revolutions which means the car is not turned on, and the SRS light is just the initial start up procedure when you put the key in and turn it. If the passenger side air-bag did deploy then you would see it in the other pictures of the dash.
