I say go 7 rear end to complete that Evo 7 look that we don't see to much of hear in the US

 

hmm you guys are making me think now! Me personally I love the Vii's but the rear needs a little "spice" or something and maybe thats why i like the IX cause it has the diffuser. But anyone with pix of a VII and a diffuser.

And my front is the VII but I think its my own personal touch with the lip we made last summer, so its not all VII ha. Also it would prob be harder to get that in

 

You really can't go wrong with either one... I am a fan of the jdm IX's personally because of the diffuser.. and they come prepainted.. etc.

i say do the jdm rear personally the evo 7 rear is pretty hidieous. and whoever said the jdm 9 rear was played out is a idiot. thats one of the best looking exterior mods you can do for your evo period. its not played sir because price on them is steadly going up. all i know is get what you want personally but the jdm rear is garanteed to make your rear end lighten up or spice it up as you stated with a cf trunk thats killer. I actually have that combination with no spoiler right now because im having made a custom apr gtc 200.5(sits pretty high) made more on that later. but check my website to see the complete look on that i sent you a pm.

 

^I think people say its played out because its the item everyone wants now...yes alot of people have it, but its like saying alot of people have the 8 bumpers ha. But I like the 7 yes, just seems a little simple. But you can always spice it up.

 

Is there a thread with VII rears? If not..Post em up...convince meeee! Saw one I thought looked GREAT..but not black..still sexy IMO

 

The JDM IX rear is probably the sexiest rear bumper ever. Although I would go with the VII if I were you, since you have the VII front already.

 

to answer your question all you have to do is cut the legs off and now the usdm crash beam fits the jdm rear its that simple nothing more to it. cut the whole leg off so it is laying flat on the ground
