That sucks. Next time though, don't sign until you open the package. Make the driver wait and watch, they will **** and moan but its the only way to gaurantee you won't get shafted.

i have bought sooooooooo many cf parts in the last month its sad 2 cf trunks 1 cf hood 1 cf roof. I opened all the packages while the driver was there to inspect right then and there. Its kind of your fault you did not look at the package before taking delivery. You should always inspect parts you buy before letting the driver leave. hope they will take it back but dont be surprised if they dont because they feel you may have done something and seibon denies there claim. And as somebody mentioned earlier thats a real easy fix.

thats what im hoping. if they would have asked me for insurance i would have totally gotten it. and the way it was package was one side was packed really good and the side that wasnt was the one that got fu**ed up. im just hoping they will do something. I figured if the box was in very good shape it would be okay. i guess im wrong. but if nothing happens my credit card company will put in a claim.

CVR+Boo if they don't make it right. The customer is always right, especially when a broken or damaged item shows up at their doorstep, regardless if the company "isn't at fault". That's just customer service.

Nice try for free publicity at our expense, but youll have to try that elsewhere and are out of your realm making any demands which dont concern you. Our reputation is well established in many circles and you are far from being in any position to question that. If you have something youd like to say to me, Im easy to reach

In response to the op, no one has told you nothing would be done. Our reputation here speaks for itself and we have been here for years. It is not in our custom to leave any customer hanging in any shape or form, and we are well known for our stance in putting the customer first not only here but on countless dozens of forums world wide. As I last emailed you (last night) I would be calling the station directly to see to it this is handled as quickly as possible. It may take a bit of time but rest assured it will be taken care of, it is not the first time an item would be damaged where we take care of our customer.

While shipping damages are seldom these days they are nevertheless unavoidable with items that are fragile like these. Always give your vendor an opportunity to assist you properly and dont let people who are unaware of a situation mislead you into prematurely coming to a conclusion. Once your situation is taken care of, and it will be, we hope you have the courtesy of sharing that information to properly conclude your post. If you have any questions, needs or concerns simply reply to my email, I check emails almost 24/7 and in the meantime will be taking care of this for you.

Chris @ CVR

I also called the shipping company first hand and spoke to the person in charge. They says it has nothing to do with them. it dosnt matter if i didnt sign and it was cracked. CVR didnt insure the product!!!! CVR i know your trying but 3 months still no trunk and same exact crack as mine??? Something should be done sooner. I dont see a big deal i'll send mine back and you send me another one. Its that easy. It's not my fault you didnt insure it, if you asked i definitly would. Now look at the mess this is causing.

Your right, it wasnt insured, with them! We insure using a 3rd party company. The shipping company has nothing to do other than providing documentation we need to do our claim, which is all it takes for you to receive a replacement, an acknowledgment, and we take care of the rest. It would take you less time to talk to me directly and get the correct information than it does posting erroneous information on a forum that shares no involvement, that is the only mess being created. When youd like to speak to me directly and be made aware of status by all means email me.

If it were up to us, there were never be any damages but we do not work for shipping companies, we use their services the same as anyone else and answer for any issues that may arise on behalf of our customers. Lastly, we do not need the trunk back, you are welcome to keep it as a spare or use at your convenience.

Chris @ CVR
