iPod for our cars?

wondering if anyone has any information on if an iPod will work in our cars with the stock head unit. I am happy with the stock setup, just want a way to listen to all my 2 hour long Paul Van Dyk live sets without having to burn 2 cds.

BTW- thanks to everyone for contributing to this forum. I am now on day 2 of ownership and loving every second

There a lot of FM transmitters that work with a headphone jack. Ebay has a lot of them.....

Yes, there is a hardwire solution, you can hack the headunit so the headunit thinks the Ipod is the 6 CD changer. I heard people has done is, but I donno how. I think it's better to just replce the HU with a better one that has an Aux in.

I use the ipod with the Aux port and have no problems. Not too sure if the stock HU has this though.

There's a harness connector that connects the 6cd changer to the head unit.. If I could get my hands on one I'd try to hack it to work with my MP3 player... But I think I saw Sherwood had a solution that works with the Lancer and some of the other mitsubishis.. You could give them a call, it may be a harness adapter of some sort.
