if the dealer lies?

if you purchased your car used and the dealer lied to you and said they have changed all the fluids, put in a new clutch, and performed all service for the car, and it turned out to be ALL LIES, and the car required several mechanical problems to be fixed like transfer case, clutch, does that fall under the right to know law? isnt a dealer suppose to let you know if something in the car is defective and let you know what has or has not been done to the car? if i have the parts replaced and they show that they were damaged at time of sale what is possible to do? or is it completly out of my hands since its a used car?

You are out $2700 because the car was brought to the dealer and not to TTP-Engineering who would have been able to do the OEM clutch job for $1150 or so and done the ACT HDTTP for $1300 range.

man i told you my situation today when i came in, belive me "I" wanted to take it to you guys, other circumstances would not allow me, if i ever need anything done to the car im coming to TTP, belive me, actually im out 2400 now but still wats 300 bucks at this point. If i could dictate what i could do or could have done at the beginning things would be different and my car would be in your shop right now

yup, not a Mitsu dealer, if its was a mitsu dealer it would be easier to go through this crap because you get actual papers that say if the car is sold as is or with 30 day warranty,

BBB doesn't do ****. I had an issue with a body shop putting my ITR decal on crooked and they refused to fix it.

I bought an EVO that was already apart and had the TCase and tranny sent to SHep before the guy put it back together.

Well either way I would complain to a service manager. File a BBB complaint and see what happens. Even if they don't pay for it, they may try to pay you off a little to have the complain resolved on there. Tarnish their reputation. The BBB is a 3rd party non gov't organization though, so don't expect a miracle.
