If there are two joint applicants to an auto loan from example "capital one," do both applicants need to be there to buy the car or just one.

oh, does applying for a loan hurt your credit.

Hi,
I got 3.59% for 60 months through Chace Manhattan via the dealer. I had been pre-approved for 4% from my credit union. Chase let me apply the money I made from selling my Eclipse (sold it a couple of weeks after I bought the Evo) against the loan and I was able to lower the payments while keeping the term the same. My understanding is that a lot of banks will only let you shorten the term if you put a bunch of money against the loan, but the payment will stay the same.

Best wishes,
f86sabre

See if you can join a local credit union. They usually can offer lower interest rates and are more flexible (credit rating). You may want to plan to buy your car soon because the interest rates are starting to creep up.

Good luck!

Simply, yes. Every time some company does a credit check, it lowers your overall credit score a few points.

Is it better for me to sign(guy with "ok" credit) and leet my dad co-sign(guy with very good credit) OR VICEVERSA. It's for me and I'm 20.

I'm 23 and was able to finance mine through my credit union for 27K at 55 months at 3.75%. I've got decent credit, but I doubt it's anything spectacular. Whenever a small time agency comes to me for money I tell them to fist themselves.
