I'm about to get an EVO tonight. I don't want to get ripped and I don't like when it happens. So I want to know what kind of APR you guys are getting. I know it depends on credit. But it also depends on the dealer.

36 months, 3.49% APR through Capital One auto finance. It is easy to do on line. That's how I financed my Evo.

I highly suggest using capital one. But do it NOW.
Dont refinance like I did. I went from 5.99% for 60 months, down to 4.39% for 36 months.

If i financed a new car however..I could have gotten a rate in the 3% range like the previous poster.

My dealer got me a loan through a local credit union which I'm sure they get kick-backs for. I was in a rush and just wanted the car the same day...so I went with them.
I wish I was prepared in advance though.
Dont fall into the same trap I did.

The rate you qualify for will be based on your credit rating. Do you know how good your rating is?

My dad is probably gonna co-sign for me. My credit isn't as good as my dad's.

His credit rating is the key.
But its still worth having your dad shop around for loan rates just to have an idea.

I have an excellent credit rating and still got offered a ****ty rate by the dealership. I wish I looked else where first.

But when I saw my prepped Evo ready to go...my reflexes took over!

I've been looking around here at what APR I can get, and it's anywhere between 4.75-7.99% depending on my credit (which I have none, so my dad's gonna co-sign for me). By the way, I live in Indiana. I've been looking into the 72 Month loans as well. I don't care how long I'm paying on it. If it lowers my payments, and I plan on keeping the car for a very long time, it's worth it IMO

5.35% i think at 55 months. I also had to piggyback on my parents credit. Most 21 year olds don't have THAT much credit (that's how htey explained it)

I'm glad I built up my credit in my early 20's

I'm 26 now and have a 746 out of 850 credit rating.

I hope to get 3% or so rate when I finance my EVO
