one quick question.... why is this under the Lancer EVO forums? Shouldn't it be under other cars or off topic?

Doesn't GM have a few cars that run e85? I know I've seen some cars around with e85 badges.

HMMM, when e85 is run you use bigger injectors for a reason, cause you burn more fuel---to the tune of 25-30% more! hence the decrease in gas milage when running E85. Some body aint doing there homework I would guess. Unless you use less gas because they are supplimenting with E85 and dont count it as fuel since it isnt "gas " in the classical sense. Wouldnt be the first time..

american cars are very sh*tty. In the mean time, i'm driving a ford explorer 2002 with only 50k miles. This thing has been in the ford shop more times then i said i HATED THIS THING. And that is a whole hell of a lot. I could list all the different things that WERE wrong with it but it is seriously way to long.

THESE R THE RIGHT NOWS
Right now im cruising around with warped rotors (shakes the f*ck outta me when braking), e-brake light is on non-stop, Back latch door cracked while shutting it (I shut the thing like a normal person would also, didnt slam it), trying to gain speed in 2gear is like trying to ride a tricycle up a mountain, just isnt gonna happen (it makes a bucking motion, idk fcked up) so i just go into 3rd. Yes its a 5speed.

The list goes on and on.....moral of the story is that All these american cars r cheap and I fully understand why they are in this economical hurt right now

just released some frustration right there, pretty much yelling the whole time i was typing it

Meanwhile, the third generation Toyota Prius is out. Eleven years ago was when the first one hit the showroom. I made a road trip to Florida last spring; when gas prices were at their peak and the roads were filled with these Toyotas. How many Fords are out that use this alcohol system? Yeah, none.

To have foreign competition you first need to compete. But, we had people at three American car companies who thought selling cars was their God given right. And the way the Fed's jumped in almost had me thinking that way too. But, not so.

fix or repair daily kinda sums it up... might be a cool car if it wasn't broke every other day...
