first startup vid

hey, so its been alittle over 7 months and i got the car running last sunday and i thought i would share. im so happy. the car drives great. i built the motor by myself and it didnt take long. just took a long time to get the right parts cause a company took a long time to send the wrong things and i had to order them over and over. let me know what you guys think. the hole build i did is in my signiture.

Nice work man! I too am a fellow do it your-selfer. I just got mine running again about a week ago. I built my engine in the garage with hand tools, dedication and a little bit of know how! Keep an eye on the Timing belt if you changed the ecentric pulley on the tensioner arm, that thing has a tendency to want to move and you will loose all tension on the belt. It happened to my car and Im now like OCD about checking the timing belt for tension haha.

it was a exhaust leak. i forgot to tighten up the v-band on the turbo to the o2 housing.

really nice, im in the process of building mine my self also, I'm putting in a HTA3582. good luck with every thing. What did u use to port the manifolds.

im a tech at toyota so i bought all the tools from the matco rep. i used carbide bits and i have small sanding bits of all different grits to polish it when i get it big enough. i spent about 6 hrs porting and polishing everything.
