What are visual differences between a 4 and 5 engine?

Question What are visual differences between a 4 and 5 engine?

I am looking at getting a 5 engine for my 4. what are the visual differences between the 5 engine to others?

Not much really its still the 4g63T and resembles your 4 motor. hers an example:
gonna add a pic of the block next.

But also the Engine ID# on the EVO IV has a T prefix while the V has prefixes N and X.

When did the Evo go to the passenger side engine setup compared to the dsm, and when did they change head styles? And WHY? The 1st gen dsm had the largest runners and flowed the best out out any stock 4g, even compared to the evo. Mitsu makes no sense sometimes.

The three was the last DSM style cam gears on the drivers side. In the four and beyond the engine was revered to better balance the car (moved weight from one side to the other). In 95 the DSMs moved to a small runner design, for better torque in the bottom end. The Evo 3 came with a variable length intake that never made it to the US called the cyclone. Some of the decisions Misu makes is for the grandma stocker crowd.
