I wanted to now what noticeable differences does the gsr and mr have. From the vortex generator to the head lights to the tAIL lights... to the interior... to the body... pretty much any visual differences...

gonna do an mr conversion just gonna keep 5spd tranni but will drop mivec and mr ecu...

drop MIVEC and MR ecu? both have MIVEC and the ecu is most likely the same.

 

Vortex generator, wheels (brightly finished on the Appearance Package, as in the pic), zero-lift kit, brake cooling guides, HIDs, badge. The MR, like +05 RS, and the SE also have aluminum roofs. AFAIK, the tail were the same on all USDM IXs.

Shift knob, e-brake handle, gauges. There's probably something I'm forgetting. I'm sure other will add to the thread.

There is no MR ECU; they're the same in the USDM. What do you mean, "drop MIVEC," and why? If you don't mind my saying, there's no point to a MR conversion, as there's nothing to convert, other than the 6-speed. I'm assuming you won't be installing an aluminum roof, and if you choose to, why not just buy a SE? Your pic is exactly what a IX SE looks like.

 

^^ The only thing you missed for interior is the MR floor mats and the console around the shifter is different and has a MR badge on it
