IX and RS Evos have terrible stock headlights this is no secret. If you are like me and are terrified to drive at night with these things then go ahead and buy the DDM HID kit 5k-6k. If you don't mind not being able to see, but like looking fly, then I suggest the Purple type HID kits10k-12k.

I have the 6k kit and I almost drown out TL headlights.

Rice or not, I like the look.
Plus, I obviously dont care as im the one who drives in and paid for it

Ill look into those DDM hid's.
12k is the purple/pink color right?

Anyone know where I can get actual foglights that I can install on the bumper though?

As for wrecking my car, no, not happening. I wont drive it in rain.. I have tons of other cars to choose from for bad weather Like an 08 FX35

How can you drive a hardcore performance car and yet sacrifice one of the most important performance/safety features of your car with purple headlights?

Not going to drive it in the rain? Silly 12k headlights also don't work very well in the dark... at night time. Unless you are going to only drive your evo with the sun shining you are putting yourself and others at risk so you can have "dope" headlights.

The only person a 12k bulb will impress is..... other ricers!

I actually am a local vendor for Hids and think its funny how much people love 10k and 12k . I personally will not go over 6k , right now i have 5k hids with a Tsx retro and a washer mod .

When is someone gonna mention that you should have them retro fitted because just sticking HID's on a car that did not come factory equipped with them is pointless.

The beam pattern will be every where, most importantly, you will be blinding oncoming traffic, and the people in front of you.

Oh snap!!!! I completely forgot about looking cool.

OP: I'm just busting your *****. But in all honesty, I believe the highest I would go would be 6600k(PIAA makes em, but $$$$$$$$), and to be done right, they should be retrofitted.

Believe me, this is the highest you want to go.

I've never heard of 6600k. Only 6000k. Probably just 6000k anyway

Dont care about oncoming traffic.
I live in the city and travel only on Highways or one way streets.

Thats their problem fi its blinding them.
As for visibility, I dont care. Their is lights all around me

I actually really wanted the type of lights my mothers 06 BMW M5 has. They are a blue/purple mix, factory. If you flash them on the wall.. In the center they are a white,, then a blue... then a very purple at the top. Really nice and AMAZING visibility.

Anyone know what those are? If I could find those, I'd get them. Otherwise im going to stick with some purple or pink. They look good on a white car. Rice or not, Idc. I will eventually end up putting Neon lights in my wheel wells and underbody aswell. Its my taste...
And not exactly rice. Once I get a new Exedy Twin HD.. Im ordering my Crower S3 Cams, Springs and retainers, arp headstuds and cosmetic gasket, and a ATP GT35R turbo kit, ets 3.5" FMIC + piping.
Looking for 400+ - HP on pump.

Not exactly a ricer
