What to do to my new evo first.

Hi guys, I'm new here but I just picked up an 06 Graphite Gray or whatever the factory calls it Evo 9 SE and it only has 19000 miles and was put in service in Jan of 07 so I have a lot of warranty left due to the fact it is pure stock and I don't want to void it. I don't want to heavily mod it till my warranty is close to running out so just visuals (not that the car needs it just an example) and small mods like cat-backs etc. Here's a list of stuff I want to do or am thinking of doing.

-Viper 5901 alarm (I don't live in a high crime area at all though)
-Turbo Timer if I dont get the alarm
-Cat-Back exhaust
-Radar Detector (I know it's not a mod and I know it usually is a given but again not much of a cop influence here)
-Possibly an upgraded BOV but I've heard some places that it's better for the stock turbo and other places I've heard it is worse so I don't know.
-Since it's still got the 5 speed as it is the SE I wanted to replace the shift knob but can't decided on a good one.

I know its not a very impressive list of potential mods but I'm new to the whole performance sedan scene as I used to almost always drive a larger vehicle and what got me into it was my friend owns an 05 1.8t jetta GLI and I borrowed it for a few months and fell in love with the small turbo charged sedan, anyway, I would like to start small with mods.

P.S. I'll get pictures up if anyone cares to see them but they wont have any fancy backdrops like some of you guys do for a little while.

If you're afraid of voiding you warrenty then do replace any OEm parts with aftermarket until you speak to your local Mitsu dealer and see if they will give you a hassle. I'd almost not believe them if they said you won't have a problem, because if you have a catback and )2 sensor goes out they could try and blame it on that. Do a search on warrenty issues here....some dealerships try to illegally void your whole warranty for the smallest mods that have nothing to do with an OEM part failing.
