Evolution Imports [Super Mega Merge]
right because a JDM Evo VIII is not allowed.
This is not a list of every vehicle ever listed that is allowed on the roads.... it is a list of vehicles that you can import from a different country..... I hope you knew that???

EDIT - you are not the same guy.......
hey.... weren't you the guy who used to live in alabama or somewhere down south.? so you did finally get your Evo? I think you were the guy who got it for about a month, then had to ship it back.
So....did you ever get a USA Street legal Evo VII? (the awswer should be no, since there are no USA street legal Evo VII"s)..... hopefully at least you got a car for your $30k though.?

I can't say anything about EI, however I have met Celm, and seen both his EVO VII, and the Nissan Pulsar GTi-R (I actually worked on the Pulsar), both are indeed legally registered and insured, not as kit cars.

Hmmm....Looks like the JDM EVO VII and JDM EVO VIII were never LEGALLY accepted for importing...

not to beat a dead horse.....but....... there is not one LEGALLY registed Evo VII in the USA...... THEY ARE NOT LEGAL ON US STREETS or they would be on this list!
http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/rules/...LIG071404.html
It may be registered, but it is not legally registered.
I know in Tampa there were some Lotus Elises about 2-3 years ago that were "registered" but were not legal. There was a big sting and they all got confiscated.... not sure how often that happens or how, but that is one example.... they were brought into the USA via the racing or 1 year exemptions (by a foreign owner), but then somehow got "lost" when they were supposed to be exported......then somehow they got registered........ ahaah.. then confiscated.
Goodluck to everyone who wants an EVO VII, but legally they are still not allowed.... the USA does have that 25 year rule, so around 2027 people can start to drive them legally...

here is a copy of the post that i rezzed this thread with. you ARE SPECIFICALLY selling whole cars, and claiming they are legal. thats the whole point. now you are saying you are only selling parts. pick something and stick with it. i don't appreciate you coming to a local board and trying to sell the dreams of owning a silvia or skyline that is legal. i would have ZERO problem with you however if you were just trying to sell the car, but don't tell the poor kids its legal, they are going to get the damn thing taken away from them eventually. quit trying to sell your cars as legal, just sell them as offroad only, that way people know what they are getting. i know why you do it though, its so you can collect a premium for a car thats only worth 500 bucks in japan, and sell it for 6500 as legal to someone who doesn't know any better. this is fine as your trying to be a business man, but your being a crooked business man until you quit telling people they are legal. how do we even know it wasn't stolen in japan and shipped to america if you won't be straight forward and honest about the registration?
again, here is the post from my local board. they are trying to sell the COMPLETE CAR. not a parts car, not parts.

this is a 34k mile car with SR20DET,after market muffler/air cleaner/suspension/shock absorber,it has sunroof as well,.Asking 6500 titled.state legal.PERFERCT CAR TO LEARN HOW TO DRIFT IN!!
