Yes. I can't really go into detail w/ whats going on, but me and a few others have and are trying different legal routes. Obviously none has really worked so far.

It's been a while but I see EI is still laughing all the way to the bank at most peoples expense. I am still out over $11K from these guys myself. If anyone is interested in my personal experience you are more than welcome to PM me. Just do a search and you'll see lots of evidence that you really shouldn't be dealing with this company. Adam Burdette has no soul and CELM, who at one point was in the same position we are at one time has also turned to the dark side. Haven't figured out why yet. I am not sure how these guys sleep at night. I have since given up after 4 years of battles, lawyers, and the local and federal govenrment. All that's left is trying to keep as many paople as possible away from this company. There are many stories of people losing aywhere from $8-40K to these people. Do yourself a favor just stay away. It's an awesome proposition, one that I certainly wasn't able to avoid. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Sincerely,
UncleXSO (AKA Leon)

evo2ner.

Not sure if your post was in agreement or disagreement with my comments or if they weren't even directed at me at all, but, if you would like to know more about the folks who have been involved and how EI has affected many peoples lives I invite you to simply PM me with any questions or comments you may have.

Thanks

a long time ago Señor Info posted all of the information about how the company was set up in some carribean country that made it extremely hard for anyone to sue them.... search his posts (Señor Info) and you will find the information.... he even had scanned documents from the court house, etc......

Glad I read this...

If EI is legit they need to post as much info about what they do and how they do it "legally." If you're going to dodge the question without providing any FACTS then I will see that you are a waste of time. PM's are not an option. If the truth is there then everyone should be allowed to see it.

And to think I was so close to falling for it...

Bump for those that need to know.

Well heres another one that got ripped off from EI, but atleast I got a car from them, well if u want to call a stripped interior on a evo 7 that didnt run.
Well i guess u can call that a car! Adam or frank do not return my email's or my calls. i am out so much money from them but i do have a car now after 2 years. The car runs but not very well, they were answering my calls everyday and communicating everyday then all of a sudden they stopped answering my calls because they owe me a wing that was stolen when the car was getting the interior put back in it and to get the car running at the place they sent it. The dealer said they wouldn't pay for it because the car sat on the lot for 6 months finished. They could never get a hold of EI to pay for the bill. So adam told me he would get me a wing and thats when they stopped answering my calls. but i am glad i got the car atleast! i feel bad for the ppl on here who are out thousands of $$$ and have no car. Right now i am working on getting the car running right and finding a evo 7 rs2 oem wing ( which i will never find!!!!!) with out someones help that imports parts. If anybody needs/wants my help on their situation concerning EI I am willing to tell and share my experience. I can say that EI does at times seems like they want to help you out and get the deal done but, after you hang up the phone you don't hear from them for weeks. When I first spoke with Adam about getting my car he promised me everything from Cusco sway bars to an upgraded turbo to full exhaust, electronic boost controller and turbo timer etc.... not to mention a car that "looked like it rolled off the showroom floor" quoted by Adam himself. When it was delivered it looked like a salvage yard car with two inches of dirt on the entire car, gouges on the rear bumper and paint that doesn't match. Not to mention that the car did not run and had no interior in it. That pretty much sums up my experience with EI, Adam and Frank.

If you really cared about getting business then you wouldn't mind telling the story. This thread really rips on your company, and if I were in your shoes I wouldn't have let it go unchecked unless it were true. I suppose it's easier to lie to one person rather than thousands, but don't take that as me calling you a liar. I just feel that the info should be out there for everyone to see so that this thread can finally die. There are a lot of unhappy people that have kept this thread going for so many years. There must be a reason for it right?

Look at the personal sales rating, that explains all. Member since 02 and only 1 positive feedback. I almost fell for his crap too, but bailed at the last minute. I feel sorry for all those who fell into the JDM trap.

I do have pictures of the car when it first got delivered. I will post them asap, just have to get them off my digital camera and I'm not sure if I brought the cable with me to school...if not I will post them when I get back home which will be at the end of the week.
