Wow, Adam is making more money. Funny how they discuss his experience with importing cars due to evolution imports. Quite a bit of news about him and the TVR venture. Just google Adam Burdette.

I feel bad for all the people who lost money, just to see him making more money. Might be a good time to make your past experiences more public.

I remember reading this thread a few years ago. I feel so bad for everyone that got jerked by this guy. But to see this guy do what he did to so many people and their money, then be a part of TVR seems really sad.

I think it was posted somewhere in here that they got away with it using their location (something like in florida but something to do with the location) and not having to abide by certain laws or something. Point is, I think people tried to sue them and they lost.

That was it, the carribeans i think. They were able to avoid state laws about legal cars and import them, but they still couldn't be driven in the US or something

Not sure how many of you recieved your Autoweek magazine this week, but, one of the first articles in there is about Adam and his partner procuring TVR. I plan on writing Autoweek with my experiences with Eolution Imports and I plan on referencing this thread. This guy messed with a lot of people and to see him get this far blows me away. I am still out $11K after all these years.

I say we flood Autoweek with leters pertaining to Adam. This is our (the Evo community) to get back for members who have lost thousands. I have already talked to Fox Valley Motor Cars about Adam (as they were asked if they would carry the supposed legal TVRs) and am trying to get the word out on other sites.

That sounds like a pretty good idea. I mean, what else are these people supposed to believe when they are receiving so many letters from so many different people that got screwed over by this guy? Eventually word will get around and it will be hard for this Adam guy to find publicity in many places.
