I've heard good things about 'Horseless Carriage'.

I had a slight advantage when I shipped my Mirage Turbo - the 350lb truck driver who was driving the rig across the country couldn't begin to even climb in the car over the cage, so he had me load it onto the truck.

Just do your research.

Just make sure that you keep a few thing in mind whatever company you decide to use. Make sure that they DO NOT take a deposit from you until your vehicle is on the trailer, and also the deposit should be half the total amount with the rest coming due upon the vehicles delivery. Some less known of shippers will take a deposit on your card and give you a BS timeframe when they'll arrive...dealt with these types quit a bit. Also, insurance, insurance, and insurance. Make sure that anything...and I mean anything...that can or could happen to your vehicle will be covered by the shippers policy. Finally, make sure that you walk through the initial inspection of the vehicle with the driver and that he shows you everything that he's wrote down before he puts it on the trailer. Good luck!

I'm get a cable+flash program and lower the RPM to like 2500 or so. They shouldn't have any reason to go above that moving the car around. Maybe even mess with the gas pedal so that full throttle is like 50%.

whatever you do, don't do express auto transport. Took over a month to transport my car 8 hours away - and messed it up in the process.

You should read up on the shippers because they are usually rated. I would recommend you one but they are only west coast I think. You can call them and ask though, here is their website.

http://fourcornerstransportservices.com/

My friend has his car shipped up from Cali from them and it was pretty fast.
