new clutch YAY, now onto another problem... BOO!!

well i have just gotten my car back from the shop and the ACT clutch is great with new ACT flywheel, but now i have a problem, which is when i am in gear and get on the gas it kinda bogs out and all you hear is my BOV with a lot of air. I too notice that i do not hear my fuel pump, and also i think my car is leaking some green fluid... possibly antifreeze.. but im more concerned with the bogging out. i used to hear a high pithc noise while in the car... thinking it was my fuel pump, but now i dont hear it. The car is fine under easy driving conditions but when i get on the gas it bogs out... fuel pump, injectors???? HELP

did you do the install of the clutch? if not take it back to the shop, all them problems can be related to things not done right on the clutch install

if your fuel pump wasnt on, the car wouldnt run...
the green fluid is antifreeze
check all your IC pipe connectors

sounds to me, the car ran fine, clutch was installed, now your having problems. basically what you do is check everything that is removed or moved out of the way while doing a clutch job.

take it back to the shop and argue with them. check all your intercooler pipes, and coolant pipes.where is the leak happenning? i agree with evojoe, its potentialy something not done right on the clutch install

I had to get a new radiator when my clutch got replaced as well.
Possibly hitting it while not being careful? idk

Sounds like they "borrowed" your fuel pump and lower intercooler pipe, sliced your rad hose, and swapped your ecu.

Sorry man, I wouldn't even bring it back to that shop for them to try to fix it

you have to take the bottom rad hose off to do the clutch, so either when they did some spilled onto the car and made a pool somewhere and now your seeing it leak off, or the hose isnt on correct

take it back to the shop. get what you paid for, dont let anyone tell you different. clutch installs arent cheap, so id want them to make sure my car is perfect when its done

They prob left a hose clamp loose and one of the IC couplers could be leaking or blown off; but i would def take back to the place the work was done, thats what you paid them for.
