No, the rpms aren't shooting up at all. They're going up just as slow as the mph/rpm ratio.

I do have a boost gauge, which is what led me to believe that I have a boost leak. The gauge, when accelerating, will only reach the line right under zero. It will not go past.

I seriously hope its not a blown motor I have no mods on the car except an exhaust and a boost controller. That's exactly how I've been describing it: an extremely sexy lancer.

it sounds like you're runnin 100% n/a maybe one of your pipes blew off? motor definitely doesnt sound like it's blown since it still runs. its just slow as *****. either a blown turbo is the culprit or a major boost leak i say. bring it to a local evo shop and have em check it out for you all this speculation wont get your car fixed.

 

I plan on taking it to a shop, but this economy is hard so evom is here to help diagnose or hurt the issue, lol. It'll be in by next Friday.

 

Just jack up the front end and check the intercooler pipes.....if the car is making 0 boost, you will notice if something is awry.
