Lancer windshield same as Lancer Evo 8 windshield?

Running a regular Lancer windshield/rear view mirror in my own Evo... $150 for the glass installed in my driveway... The OE Evo rearview mirror didn't fit. So I grabbed a cheap standard Lancer unit. Think that was 2-3 years ago.

swapped mine to a lancer also...I did not see any diff in thickness or weight..oh family ownes a lock and glass shop.. both windshields are light compaired to many
