fixing scratches on a ARC shift knob

So I bought a ARC shift knob a lil while back and my brother drove my car yesterday and he has a ring on his thumb and he tried to finger shift but unfortnatley his ring on his thumb scratched up my shift knob. He's willing to buy me a new one but its not that bad. I was seeing if there is anyway to fix scratches like that.

Rule #1 - NEVER let someone else drive your evo.

Back to topic - nah - i think it's impossible to fix scratches on the ARC shift knob (i have the same).

get a new shift knob yourself or just live with the scratch. he is your brother. people make mistakes so don't make him buy you a new one.

Probably matched his anklet or toe ring.

Maybe I'm missing out on what the ARC shift knob looks like, but I would guess you should be able to wet sand it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

I actually did that to my stock MR shift knob. I hated the very, very slight ridges on the knob so I sanded it smooth.
