the car has a tune intake exhaust mbc and ssqv bov and has 39500 mi

it happened after i got a tune and the intake and the bov the problem has been happening for a while seems to have been getting worse

happens when i lift off the throttle and reapply full throttle it misfires and makes a popping noise once or twice and does not accelerate

and what is the ix dv?

 

Sounds like the BOV is causing you to run rich between shifts and when you lift off the throttle thus causing a temporary bog. Get rid of that crappy SSQV and get a IX DV. That is the stock metal diverter valve (also called bypass valve or blowoff valve) from the Evo IX.
