I've been getting this too and I think it's because both our cars are not tuned. Just my guess so don't take my word for it.

if its a bov i guarantee thats it. you might want to regap your spark plugs and check your coils at the same time.

I have noticed this mostly after all bolt-ons + cams and doing a pull above 6k and then shifting relatively hard from 2nd->3rd, 3rd->4th, 4th->5th. If I smooth out my shifting just a hair it is completely fine. My tuner did some magic during the shift on my tune and I don't experience it as much anymore, but I still get it occasionally.

I think it had something to do with the way AFRs were ramping down at the point where I get on the gas again. He actually thought it was an issue with NLTS at first, but I don't have that enabled.

Check the spark plugs, they're prolly bad. I had the same issue a year ago. Replaced with OEM plugs and never happened again.

Even recirced that BOV does not belong on a stock MAF'ed EVO. I don't think I have ever heard one person say that they didnt have driveability issues with it

What all do you have done to the car?

How many miles?

Did this just start happening randomly?

Can you describe the problem more in detail?

You should be able to tell if the plugs are bad.

I would get rid of that BOV and get a IX DV.
