drove the car around, and it felt honestly...like ***..

the car would hit hard and then fall on its face BAD....
i cam home and switched out the 8 valve for the crushed 9 vavle(which caused alot of problems on my old setup) and i took it for a ride..

mash the gas i get nailed into my seat and i look at my Boost gauge....its pinned at 30psi...(which is the highest reading on my guage)

i pull over and put it back down to 25psi and the car pulls SO hard, its rediculous.....i know im making much more power now....but does this mean i need a retune now? who knows, i have to talk to TTR and see what they say, i dont have 400 extra dollars to spend..so lets hope they give me some good news on the retune front...thats if i even need one....
Are you asking if you need to be retuned for the IX DV as opposed to the VIII? You shouldn't need a new tune as long as you aren't seeing knock or any issues with your boost set. I'm guessing the VIII just couldn't hold the boost while the crushed IX could. If the adjusted boost (it sounds like 25) is running well you should be good and it means your crushed IX DV is doing well.

*edit - think of it this way, if you are running a IX DV and you are tuned and running well and you decide to crush the IX DV and you are now running more boost through the system (meaning, the non-crushed IX leaked a bit) then you should be good. Again, as long as you aren't seeing issues such as knock and are running within what you consider your boundaries. I think it wise that you turned the boost down since you didn't know what you were hitting above 30. Your tuner should have the answer for what they consider a good boundary for your setup, since they know your car directly. Good luck!

^ Yeah, and like I said whatever they tuned it for, set it at that, and its already tuned.

Just not leaking anymore, I don't know why anyone that tunes for a living would tune something that's leaking...makes no sense, but whatever.

They assume everything is ok.. thats why you sign a waiver in reputable shops. They should also let you know of any mechanical problems found

You should make sure your air fuel ratios are good. Since you had a leaking blow off valve, all that air that should have gone into the engine escaped. Now that all that air is not escaping with a good blow off valve, you probably are running more lean.

Congratulations on being so patient, I would have trouble seeing those parts every day and not installing them immediately.

It will be a night and day difference once you get them installed and tuned properly.
