Autometer dual gauge steering column pod

so i have this and it looks great but everytime i turn the steering wheel, the plastic backing of the steering wheel will rub on the gauge pod and make an audible plastic-to-plastic scraping noise. does anybody else have this problem?

it also came with double sided tape and mounting screws...i used only the double sided tape as i didn't want to do any drilling but is there any way to eliminate the contact?

thanks

I sanded down where it rubbed on mine - fixed.

Could anyone tell me if the dual pod interferes with your ability to see the gauge cluster?

I have the dual perrin and it blocks my fuel gauge from straight view. I have to look at an angle to see it - has caused some close calls on low fuel.

mine rubbed...and yes it blocks the fuel gauge completely

I actually got rid of mine and went with a single one (screw in type) and put my other gauge in an evodave ashtray pod

I did the same. Ditched it and put my boost in the ash tray.
