Hello:

A friend of mine just put together is evo 9. So he was getting a code and took it to a shop to run a diagnostic while he gets an alignment. The shop check the code and cleared it. This was a Friday.

Saturday, he took the car by his mechanic and checking for another code, he could not get access. He then came by me a few days later and I cannot even connect with Mut II/III tool or even Ecuflash.

We took it back to the shop that first test the code and nothing. There cannot even get anything.

Do anyone know what the problem can be?

 

Either faulty scan tool, signal line/pin fitment, or bad ecu

 

So faulty scanner. It could be that, although all looks well. Ecu working. Car driving.

 

If the first shop that was able to read the codes can't re-read, the culprit might be ecu pins. Check for that.

 

check your fuses. could be a blown one causing both the light and that you cant connect to the ecu.

 

I had a similar problem with my evo 9, when I connect the launch to the car I wasn't getting nothing after doing some checks I realize my central locking fuse was blown after i changed that everything worked fine
