water at my foot

water at my foot

ok the other day im driving in from south padre island and i notice water started dripping my my gas foot. has this happen to anyone else?

Did you have you're A/C running? If you did, it's most likely that the A/C drain tube is clogged and the water dripping by your foot is the condensation from the evaporator core.

I've felt this before too and it was the condensation from the a/c just like streetevo said.

ya i had the a/c running full blast..it was 103 out so ya. lol! how do i unclog the drain tube?

I'm not sure... but here's a free bump...

My suggestion: attach a water bottle to it for a fresh source of distilled water.

To clear the drain tube, you'll need to get under the car and find the drain opening (it should be on the firewall near the transfer case), then if you have Pipe cleaners (art supply store) stick one end up into the drain tube and move it back and forth a few times. This should dislodge any debris that's in the tube.
