So I bought my WW IX MR without the triple diamond or Lancer emblem. Does anyone know the dimensions to where the diamond and lancer emblem would go? I just want it to be as if I bought it brand new. Looks to naked for my taste without the 2 emblems

 

Diamonds are centered on the deck lid near the top. Lancer emblem is on bottom left of deck lid.

 

I'd be happy to measure for you, let me just find a tape measure, brb.

 

Ok lets see if I can explain this right...

The Diamond Logo

Centered on the trunk, the top of the center diamond is 1.75 inches from the top of the trunk. I measured from the flat surface at the top above the ridge. Hope that makes sense.

The Lancer logo

The top left corner of the L in Lancer measures 1.75 inches from the left edge of the trunk, and two inches from the bottom of the trunk. You will have to measure the vertical first considering that the left edge of the trunk at that point is going in a diagonal down direction.

Sorry I can't be more precise than that, I suck at explaining stuff.

i saw an evo on the street once that had dubs and the mitsu diamond logo on the DRIVER'S door.........................................

As far as the three-diamond emblem on the trunk, the manual doesn't give exact dimensions, but it looks as if you draw an invisible line from the top of the taillights, and place this emblem barely above that in the center of the trunk.....

 

Speaking of the LANCER emblem on an IX MR.................I have an IX GSR, and did not like the chrome LANCER and EVOLUTION badges. But on the IX MR, both these badges are black. I've found a place to purchase the black EVOLUTION badge, but does anyone have a part number for the BLACK LANCER badge for a IX MR????
