what should I do? Greddy Spec V 24C intercooler

bought my evo a few months ago from a "we don't deal with these cars often" dealership... got a great deal so I figured I could fix it's slight imperfections... After fixing MOST of the problems, I noticed it was missing the piece in the picture I attached.

I've emailed/called Greddy direct but their customer service is non-existent...

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get this pipe and it's respective gasket...

well that would part of your intercooler piping...in that picture it would be your upper most pipe that attaches to your throttle body

is that piece currently not on the car? did you buy this car running?

So, you bought the core and it was missing a part? or did the intercooler come with the car as is and it was missing?

If you purchased it from greddy then I would demand the missing part from them. If it came with the car when you bought it and is missing a lower intercooler pipe, just buy a new one.

Yes it came running, it's connected to the factory pipe now.. It's missing the pipe (pipe named I-1) I don't think it's the pipe that connects to the throttle body..

Leave the factory pipe in place and don't worry about it then

BTW chaoitichoax, thats the LICP side, not the UICP the OP is talking about.

Call GReddy. What they will tell you is to find the instructions and circle the part you need. Then go to a greddy dealer and they will order it. They don't seem to have any issue picking up when i call. Are you sure you called the correct number?

Just got to a GReddy dealer and they should be able to order it for you. It will cost about $160 for that one pipe... Thats how it was when I needed to order an intercooler pipe from Trust while I was in Japan for my Evo3... If there is none around where you live see if one of the venders on here is a Greddy dealer and order it through them.

thank you Knight, I have an autorized dealer up the street JE Import. I'll stop up there and ask about it. It's the lower intercooler part, I BELIEVE, it's a replacement turbo outlet pipe... I got ahold of them and they told me pretty much word for word what boostless said, lol.

Thanks all.
