Hi,

On my evo9 rs the evo 2 step plug is unplug. I would like to plug it in but its very complicated. It is the plug way above the clutch pedal. Does any have any hints on how to plug this thing in pain-free?

Get under there and plug it back in.

 

find a 7 year old and have him do it!!! thats what i did when i replaced my clutch line.

 

haha it's easy...

1. move the seat as far back as it can go
2. tilt the steeringhttps://www.evolutionm.net/forums/evo-general/438932-need-help-locating-2-step-plug.html wheel all the way up
3. take your shoes off (optional)
4. sit in your seat backwards...(legs on the backrest with feet pointing at the roof)
5. lower your head under the steering wheel and dash
6. slide yourself off the seat until you can see above the clutch pedal
7. find plug, plug it back in

If you didn't get the above, ill try to describe my final position. My head was in front of the brake pedal, turned to the right looking above the clutch pedal. My lower back/butt was on the very edge of the seat. My legs and feet were resting on top of the backrest.

When i did this, i was adjusting the clutch pedal. I figure it would be the same.

what i like to do when im under there for wiring and such is move the seat all the way back and then lay down with my feet outside of the car. i just position myself on my back and scoot in

This **** is hard, i didnt unplug the wire so i cant even find where to even plug it in. I just know that it is all the way up there.

That was the neighbor kid he probably borrowed for some yard work.

 

i hate getting under there. I gained a lil weight since i had a kid and now i just look ridiculous doing the reverse strattle-the-headrest routine =)

 

Does this plug exist on the Evo8's. I tried to put my '03 into 2-step once and it wouldnt engauge.

 

03 dont have them if i can recall correctly.

Just an update i got the wire in, i just tore up the dash

 

Does 04? How do u use it? I launched at 6k once and i think 2step makes it so u can only launch at 4 or 5 or whatever u set it to right>?
